Using Technology to Promote Flexibility and Autonomy in Language Learning,
Mr. Darren Mace, Zurich University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland
Place: Room B5-27

Time: 13.00 – 13.45
Description: I will present a number of concrete examples of how different technologies can be leveraged to support flexibility in terms of when and where students practice and learn language. Following on from this, I will look at the teacher’s role in motivating students to take advantage of the resources that are available to them. Finally, I will provide examples of how these technologies have ultimately motivated students to become more autonomous language learners.
