Place: Room D404
Time: 15.00 – 15.45
Description: In this presentation, we would like to present how a teachers’ team transformed the course “Business French”, a compulsory course taught during the first year of the Bachelor in Business Management at Artevelde University College, from a “classical” language classroom course and setting into a blended learning and flipped classroom-based course.  We would not only focus on the methodological, didactic and organizational changes, challenges and pitfalls at hand, but also show the audience how we changed the original course and give a taste of the “final product”. As these changes have only been implemented this academic year, we would also present some preliminary results regarding the use of the platform by the students and the perception students and teachers have of this new way of teaching. Finally, we would also like to present the platforms created to support learners’ own autonomous remedial activities for French.
